Sodzo’s first gala raised $35,937

Sodzo International’s 10th Anniversary Gala, on November 1 at South Main Baptist Church in Houston, was our very first gala. It was a meaningful evening, and thanks to the generosity of our community, we exceeded our goal of $25,000 and raised $35,937!

This milestone wasn’t just about marking 10 years. It was about celebrating transformation. We honored a decade of restoring broken systems by restoring people through healing, education, and community-led change. Stories shared throughout the evening, along with activities like the Table Banking Simulation, reminded us why “Coming Together” remains at the heart of our work.

Thank you for being part of the Sodzo community. Your support, whether in the room or from afar, continues to make this mission possible.

Where we see God at work

During a recent KPJ group session, our Kenya team noticed something beautiful. The men who once arrived serious and unsure now come together in groups, confident, relaxed, and smiling. They shared how the trainings have strengthened their families, improved relationships with their wives and children, and brought new joy into their homes.
